Chandigarh Football League provides a platform for young boys and girls in the tri-city to take up the sport of football, outside the school in a unique fun-filled interactive league. CFL aims to involve kids from all age groups in a month long football league to be conducted during the summer vacations.
CFL intends to bring a refreshing change to the face of Chandigarh's youth sporting fraternity- till now limited to school-level activities only. The league promises to provide the opportunity to young enthusiastic kids (and parents) - irrespective of their sports background or skills - to come together, form a team and compete in this unique football league tournament.
CFL is a unique football league concept introduced for the cities of Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula and neighbouring towns by Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools. (BBFS)
After expanding its training horizon through the various Centres of Excellence established across the country over the years, BBFS has strengthened the state of football in the tri-city region by opening its regular training centers where kids from all age groups (5 to 17 years) train 3-4 days a week at:
- Dev Samaj College, Sector 45, Chandigarh
- St Soldiers School, Sector 16, Panchkula
- Shemrock Sports Arena, Sector 69, Mohali
- Gillco International School, Sector 127, Kharar
- Yadavindra Public School, Sector 51, Mohali
- Shivalik Public School, Phase 6, Mohali
Through CFL, BBFS aims to encourage the whole community (not just youth) to actively encourage young blood to undertake the sport of football through this 3 week long football extravaganza.
